Convention Agenda

(Subject to change without notice)

Friday 16th July

9:00am to 10:00am Registration 

10:15am to 12:00pm OUCH Reports

12:00pm to 1:30pm Lunch Break

1:30pm to 2:30pm Larry Schor - Licensed Psychotherapist  (Dr Schor is a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Georgia,and cluster headache sufferer himself, will be giving a presentation on the psychological aspects of CH for both sufferers AND supporters. He will also facilitate a group therapeutic discussion session for anyone who wants to attend)

3:00pm to 5:00pm Dr Manjit Matharu - Neurologist  (Dr Matharu has taken over Professor Goadsby's role at the Institute of Neurology in London. He trained under Prof. Goadsby and is considered to now be the top headache specialist in England. he is widely published and devoted to helping people with Cluster Headaches as much as he possibly can.  Manjit will speak on Cluster Headaches in general, research and treatments available.)


Registration will close 15 minutes before sessions begin to allow volunteers time to attend.
Time has been left after each of the two lectures in order to allow overrun and questions.

There will be an informal group session in the evening for all to attend to discuss CH and it's impact. Timing has yet to be arranged but notice will be posted here. It will be a later session to allow people time for dinner.


Saturday 17th July

9:00am - 9:30am Registration

9:30am - 12:30pm "Who's afraid of the big bad ONSI?" A detailed session on all aspects of both ONSI and DBS with lectures from Carrie Preston, a sufferer with an ONS Implant, and Dr Manjit Matharu. Both will be available for questions.

12:30pm to 1:30pm Lunch Break

1:45pm to 3:15pm Professor Goadsby

4:00pm to 5:00pm Life Gas

6pm OUCH Dinner and Auction
